  Very good Hill Country eatery. Expect a small town environment. This is not a chain store. It has good food, and lots of character. Relaxed character. Salad bar is always fresh. If you're friendly, the wait staff will be just as friendly. Breakfast there is a favorite of mine. If its crowded, you may have a bit of a wait. Small kitchen where everything is done to order.

  Passing through coming back from west Texas. I had the turkey bacon club with chips. It was good. My husband had chicken fried steak with cream gravy and a baked potato. He said it was fairly good. The steak could have used a bit more flavor. The yeast rolls were really good as well as the salad bar. Overall the food was good. The building has a country feel and appeared clean and seemed to be a family business. It was
  priced moderately.

  Good homestyle pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon & coffee. No problem getting breakfast at noon. Friendly service.
